How Qallam Works
A step-by-step guide to the course system. Follow this path and you will be fully prepared for your exam.
Step 01
Your Course
Each course is organized into topics, and each topic has subtopics. This is your roadmap — follow it from start to finish, and you will cover everything the exam demands.

Step 02
Learn with Lectures
Each subtopic starts with a video lecture that teaches the core concepts. Watch these first before attempting any questions — they lay the foundation.

Step 03
Practice MCQs
After watching, practice with MCQs. These are designed to test your understanding of each concept. Get instant feedback on every answer.

Step 04
Track Your Mastery
As you practice, your mastery score updates in real time. Green means you have mastered it. Mastery softly decays without practice, so keeping it green takes review.

Step 05
How Scoring Works
Your mastery score is built from multiple activity types — each with a cap to keep things fair. The diagnostic contributes up to 8%, exercises up to 5%, quizzes up to 10%, topical practice up to 20%, unit tests up to 20%, and full-length tests up to 45%. Only your most recent attempt on each question counts. Hints reduce credit proportionally — 1 hint gives 67% credit, 2 hints give 33%, and 3 hints give 0%. Mastery softly decays without practice — 14-day half-life.

Half-life softens stale scores so review compounds.
Step 06
Test Yourself
Quizzes test individual subtopics. Unit tests cover the entire topic. Use these to validate your understanding and identify weak areas before the real exam.
